Making Connections That Matter
I believe small ideas can make a big difference. Through Tap Caps Connect, I want to use my business to create connections that go beyond the products I make and help people who need support.
How It Started
I previously used a portion of my profits to help provide bags of food and supplies to people experiencing food insecurity. I distributed these bags each week. I wanted Tap Caps Connect to be about more than just making and selling cool products. I also wanted it to make a difference.
A New Chapter
Going forward, a portion of my profits will be donated to the Look. Foundation, a nonprofit that supports children and young adults affected by PANS/PANDAS and their families.
PANS can cause sudden changes in a child's behavior, thinking, and physical symptoms. Families can face a difficult journey to find answers and access treatment. The Look. Foundation helps families through financial assistance for treatment, education, advocacy, and community support.
By supporting the Look. Foundation, I hope to help more families access the care and support they need and raise awareness of a condition that deserves greater understanding.
Why It Matters
I started Tap Caps Connect because I love creating things and finding new ways to connect people. I also believe that running a business can be about more than selling products. It's an opportunity to help others, too.
